About this notice
This notice describes how Bath Body Beyond Shop uses information when you browse our website, shop, create an account, contact us, or use Find Your Routine. For privacy questions, contact cs@bathbodybeyond.com.
Information you provide
When you place an order, checkout collects the details needed to process it, such as your name, email, billing and delivery addresses, phone number where requested, selected products, and order notes. If you create an account, WooCommerce keeps account information, saved addresses, and order history.
Our Contact Us form asks for your name, email, inquiry topic, message, and optionally an order number. If you submit a product review, your chosen display name, rating, and review may appear publicly with the product. Please do not include private information in a review.
How information is used
Information is used to operate the store, process and deliver orders, manage customer accounts, respond to inquiries, handle order issues, and protect the site against misuse. Order and payment records may also be needed for accounting and other applicable obligations.
Payments and service providers
Stripe is the payment provider currently connected to this shop. Payment and transaction information is handled by Stripe to support payment processing and fraud prevention. Its checkout tools may collect information as you interact with them, including before an order is completed. Read the Stripe Privacy Policy for its practices.
The store also relies on website hosting, email delivery, and shipping services as needed to operate the site, send order communications, and deliver purchases. Information shared with these providers depends on the service, such as contact details for an order email or delivery details for a shipment.
Cookies and technical information
WordPress and WooCommerce use cookies and session information for functions such as sign-in and remembering your shopping bag. The site and its providers may process technical information, such as IP addresses and browser details, for operation and security.
You can manage cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies needed for the store may affect sign-in, your shopping bag, or checkout.
Find Your Routine and optional AI
The routine finder asks about skin type, cosmetic concerns, sensitivity, fragrance preference, routine length, and budget. It uses these answers with verified product information to suggest a cosmetic routine.
If you choose the optional AI feature, those six answers and eligible product facts are sent through the shop’s server-side OpenAI connection. The routine request does not include your name, email address, or account details. The custom routine finder does not save your answers to the WordPress database. OpenAI processes submitted data under the API service terms applicable to the shop.
You can leave the AI option unchecked and use the basic routine outline. Recommendations are general cosmetic guidance. Avoid including medical records or other sensitive information in messages to the store.
Contact inquiries and security
Contact inquiries are used by customer service to respond to your message. The contact form does not create a separate message archive in WordPress; email services may retain delivered messages.
The contact form and routine finder use temporary rate limits based on a hashed network address to reduce automated misuse.
Retention and your requests
Retention depends on the type of information and why it was collected, including order fulfillment, customer support, accounting, dispute handling, and applicable recordkeeping requirements. Contact us to ask about the information associated with your account or order.
To ask about your information, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email cs@bathbodybeyond.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Available rights and any records that must be retained depend on applicable requirements.
